The movie that was like a storm to movie theaters around the world! Most theaters sold out shows its first week and almost every weekend since its release date. Crossing the One Billion Dollar Mark just recently it just shows how much kid movies and game movies are adored.

I am thrilled people have enjoyed this film and love that it has brought so many people joy especially little kids. Growing up with Mario Games made it kind of hard for me to see a story for a Mario movie, I know they have made one before, but I never watched it. I did however go see this, and I was not impressed. 

I tend to be very picky with animated movies, very few of them have I liked. They just don't hold the spark as they once had. The acting is just acting, there is very few "voice acting" anymore and it just didn't fit the Mario vibe in my honest opinion. It isn't something I would watch again.
