Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, the fifth movie in the Monsterverse Franchise. Who knew, people can still enjoy movies where their main characters have no dialogue. Granted, there are the side characters that do obviously, but their focus is on characters that don't.
Can you believe that it has been ten years since the franchise began? Funny how then I had no interest in watching them as I was not a fan of previous Godzilla related movies. But as I said before, Kong: Skull Island kept my interest, so it pulled me in, so I began watching them and I have been a fan since and always excited to see a new story hit the big screen.
So of course, I made my way to the movie theater to see this installment to the franchise and it did not disappoint. I was just as enthralled as I have been with the rest and this one had an interesting twist, but how to tell you just how amazing I thought this movie was without spoilers...
The New Empire brings our favorite Titans back to the big screen, but is it possible that it's different than before? Are they still enemies" Are they frenemies? What is their deal? You'll just have to watch the movie to discover the answers yourself!
This installment takes us further down in the ride of mythology of giant creatures. Making us grow a bigger bond with our favorite Titan! Rooting for them in their latest battle, but can Kong get Godzilla's help when it's proven to be a little difficult? There's only one Titan that could make him see reason, but where that Titan is may make it seem all is lost.
This Installment may be the best yet as it shows us just the importance of things that we tend to just take for granted in the real world. I'm not sure how they can top it, but I am here for it to see what's next! Unfortunately, we will have to wait until 2027 to see it!
